About the Arts Education Summit

The Arts Education Summit brings together parents, students, educators, and community members for a day-long conference in order to build support for and understanding of the benefits of arts learning for young people.

Keynote Speaker:  Randy Nelson is the creator of Pixar Animation Studios’ Pixar University and current head of DreamWorks Education, where he provides training and education for all of DreamWorks’ employees.

Attendees will learn:

-         how the arts fit into your child’s education

-         how your child will benefit from the arts

-         how the arts will help prepare your child for a future career

-         what to look for in your child’s school

-         how to support and advocate for arts education

Lunch will be included.
